Consists of two modular cards partitioned into a common digital interface card compatible with all sensors and an analog sensor specific interface card.


Interface data rate: 12 megabit per second peak, 8.6 megabit per second average.
Programmability: Programmable hardware logic is downloaded from host for in field upgradeability. Fast 8051 compatible on board microcontroller code is downloaded from host for in field upgradeability.
Host display update rate: 6 frames per second for 320 X 240 image and 1.5 frames per second for 640 X 480 image.
Video output: Programmable video output for RS-170 and VGA. Video rate is at 60 fps for 320 X 240 and 30 fps for 640 X 480.
Size: 3.75” X 2.5”
Power: 7.5 VDC regulated at 700 mA.

Operating temperature: -25 to +100° C (ambient w/o sensor) –25 to +60° C ambient with sensor).


Digital Interface features: USB 1.1, programmable logic provides sensor clocks, I2C bus, DAC bus, high speed 12/14 bit ADC interface, low speed 24 bit ADC interface, 64/256 MB SDRAM, 32K MB microcontroller external memory, 2 RS-232 ports, 6 GPIO, high speed 8051 compatible microcontroller, programmable video logic, programmable gate array with option for EE memory or host download.
Analog sensor interface features: 14 bit 10 MSPS ADC (U3000, U4000) 12 bit 25 MSPS ADC (U6000, U7000), 13 bit bias DAC, 24 bit low speed ADC, TEC control DAC/power amp, quad low speed bias voltage/current ADC, Smart Bus support logic (U4000, U6000, U7000), ID memory for auto configuration support.
